Cannabis owes a lot to the LGBTQ community. From the many queer activists throughout the history of cannabis prohibition, to the largely LGBTQ fight for AIDS patients to have access to medical marijuana, it’s possible we wouldn’t even be here today without their drive, determination, and courage in the face of injustice.
So for Pride this year, we want to do more than just deck out our store in rainbow: we want to give back to the cause that’s given us so much.
From June 28th – 30th, 20% of all proceeds from select vendors will go to support the Seattle Pride Foundation! A local organization founded in the midst of the HIV/AIDS crisis that provides critical community support to Seattle’s LGBTQ residents. Via scholarships, business grants, community initiatives, and public policy advocacy, Seattle Pride Foundation has impacted the lives of our LGBTQ neighbors for decades. We are thrilled to be able to support them in their continued efforts, with your help, of course.
On Monday June 28th, 20% of all the proceeds of FALCANNA sales will go to Seattle Pride Foundation. Tuesday, June 29th is for all the edible lovers; stock up on all your favorite SWIFTS, and support your community while you’re at it! Lastly, on Wednesday June 30th, 20% of the proceeds of any purchases of BUDDIES concentrates and cartridges will go to this incredible charity. No matter what your favorite way to consume cannabis is, there’s a way to participate in the cause!
