Loading a PAX is similar to loading a bowl. But there is an added cautionary component due to the internal oven used to vaporize the cannabis.

  1. Break up your flower, carefully removing any stems. Place into a grinder and after you have ground the flower to your desired consistency, empty the flower into a container or on to a flat surface.
  2. Make sure the oven has had time too cool down. Once you’ve confirmed it’s not hot remove the lid to the oven. The oven is located on opposite end of the mouthpiece.
  3. Take your ground cannabis and load the oven. Replace the lid to the oven.
  4. Return the PAX to its upright state and gently press on the mouthpiece to release it. This will cause the chamber to begin to heat.
  5. Once the light on the front of the PAX turns from purple to green the chamber is at the desired temperature and ready for use.
  6. Inhale slowly as if drawing from a straw.
  7. Hold for a moment, exhale, and enjoy!
