Wyld Edibles Gummies Seattle, WA

Wyld

When discussing edibles, many people think of “special brownies.” But given the present, fast paced evolution of the cannabis industry, edibles have come to take on numerous forms and varieties from tasty cookies to sweet candy mints and dried fruit. The major difference between eating cannabis and smoking cannabis is that when ingesting an edible, the cannabinoids are metabolized through your digestive system, leading to a more body oriented high with effects that can take 30 minutes or more to kick in.

(Lux) Pot Shop carries a wide variety of locally sourced edibles. Our selection includes cookies, candy, gourmet chocolates, soups, cheese crisps, chocolate covered espresso beans, granola, nuts, coffee, tea, soda, honey sticks, and more. Additionally, we have options that are kosher, gluten free and vegan, to meet the needs of all our customers.

Frequently Ask Questions about Edibles

What is a proper edibles dose?

A proper edible dose is going to vary from individual. Single serving in Washington state is considered 10mg of THC. For some this is enough to feel something, for others 50mg is their starting amount. Start slow, gradually take more if needed.

How do you micro dose cannabis?

Edibles are an easy way to micro dose cannabis. A single serving is considered 10mg THC. Start slow with a 2.5mg serving and wait for at least an hour. Take another 2.5mg if you don’t notice any effect. Gradually eat more and see how you feel.

Is it cheaper to make my own edibles?

Yes. Concentrates such as RSO and distillate are good choices as they are already activated and don’t require additional heat to work. This oil can be dissolved into food/beverages, placed into empty capsules, or simply eaten directly from the syringe. Just know that these oils are sticky and masking them with something keeps your teeth clean!

How long does an edible high last?

Edible effects vary from person to person. How much you take also determines how pronounced the effects may feel. We recommend allowing at least 4 to 6 hours for the effects to taper off.

How can I make edibles kick in faster?

If you want a faster edible high, try beverages or tinctures. These liquid based consumables metabolize cannabinoids faster than solid edibles. Eating good fats like avocado or coconut before consuming edibles will help the body absorb the cannabis for longer lasting effects.

Do edibles expire?

Yes. Similar to traditional food labels, all edibles legally sold in Washington must contain best buy dates on the packaging.

Do edibles lose potency? How long are edibles good for?

Edibles don’t lose potency from our experience. Edibles containging dairy should be kept cold or placed in the freezer for long term storage.

How long do edibles take to work?

Liquid edibles such as tinctures and beverages can start to be felt in as little as 10 minutes. Solid edibles take longer to metabolize and usually need 60 to 90 minutes to be felt.

What can I do if I eat too much marijuana or feel too high?

Remind yourself that nobody has died from an edible overdose. Even if it feels like you are, tell yourself that you are going to be okay and the feeling will fade. Embrase the effects rather than trying to fight the feeling. You might not be in complete control, but may enjoy the unexpected. If you’re still freaking out, ask a friend to make sure you’re not actually melting in the couch.

I hate the taste of weed, what can I do if I want to use edible cannabis?

If you don’t want to taste cannabis in your edibles at all, try taking a capsule or tablet. Beverages and tinctures are also great because they can be mixed into non infused drinks to mask the herb flavor. When buying edibles, the higher the MG serving, the more likely to have a weed flavor. However, because the edible is more concentrated, you need to eat less to feel the effects.

Can you fly with edibles? How do I bring edibles on a plane?

Unfortunately no because cannabis is still federally illegal. Once you’re 35,000 feet in the air, local state laws don’t apply.
