Flavr Blue

Flavr Blue

PHOTO BY AJ RAGASA While Seattle music veterans, The Flavr Blue, may drip in West Coast sound, their music portfolio, consisting of luxurious synth-heavy R&B, melodic electro-pop bops, chart-topping K-pop hits and a casual World Tour with Macklemore, is evidence...

JusMoni

JusMoni

"Other-worldly", "ethereal", "assured", "strong", "soft", "magnetic", "enchanting" -- these are just a few of the adjectives that have been used to describe JusMoni's voice. With a cadence unlike any other, years of honing her limitless range have cemented her as...

Cannabis and music have always gone hand in hand. During the rise of protest and festival culture in the 60s and 70s, although painted bleak with stereotypes and propaganda, the inherent connection was made famous across the pages of TIME magazine, local newspapers, and splashed across black and white TVs. With musicians of these revolutionary decades, like Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Mama Cass, and Janis Joplin, openly touting their use and support of cannabis as a method for achieving a higher frequency of creativity, the permanent connection was cemented in the minds of the populous forever. From hip-hop to country, cannabis references can be found throughout the entire spectrum of music, and our goal, at Lux, is to create an environment where musicians and connoisseurs can celebrate those connections openly. We work closely with musicians, throughout the Pacific Northwest, to foster space for collaboration, founded in the uniting properties of the cannabis plant.
