The Weed Lover’s Guide to Belltown Bloom 2024

Another year, another fun-filled spring weekend jam-packed with awesome performances….that’s right,  Belltown Bloom at the Crocodile is back!

And this year, the Bloom lineup is bringing the heat with a bigger variety of genres than ever before- EDM, Hip-Hop, Punk, Indie, Pop, and Folk, to name a few. As the iconic SNL character Stefon would say, it has EVERYTHING.

Our Belltown location is just a skip and a jump away from where it’s all going down, so we’re also back- back with a fresh round of product pairings to enhance the festival at every turn, that is!

If you’ve secured those tix and wanna know how to come back from every smoke break refreshed and ready to jam out, we’ve got you! Read on for all our puff-puff-pro-tips and cannabis product pairings. And don’t worry- we left some wiggle room for you to have a few cocktails while you’re there if that’s your thing!

The Pre-Funk

Look, we’re not here to tell you how you should get psyched for Belltown Bloom- what you smoke in the days leading up to the festival is totally up to you. You like what you like!

But in the spirit of pairing your cannabis with music, we did make you a couple pre-festival pump up playlists with the artists from the Bloom lineup.

So whether you go more for indicas, sativas, or hybrids, you can still treat yourself to a little preview of the festivities with your pre-festival sesh. Check them out below!

Day 1: Saturday, May 4th

The word of the day for Saturday? HYPE! With hyperpop babes Snow Strippers, the bold, DGAF energy of BBYMutha, and certified banger princess Aluna gracing the main stage, you’re in for a rowdy good time. And for all you punk potheads out there, there are plenty of acts to keep you satiated: art punk Brooklyn natives Gustaf and local garage punk band BANGZZ are sure to bring the energy.

Day 1 also has some serious depth, though. Seattle’s own indie darlings La Fonda will whisk you off to dreamland with their sunny riffs and mellifluous vocals. You’ll want to be in touch with your softer side for the acoustic folk stylings of Kara Jackson. And the ethereal witch house of Elusin will hit different with some floaty indica-induced body effects.

Our Day 1 Recommendation

  • Start the evening with an edible to keep those goosebump-inducing body effects going through each performance. Pioneer Squares are a reliable pick (and delicious)! We’ve also been loving Constellation’s Gravity Gummies for potent, long-lasting effects. And if you’d prefer something on the lighter side, Spot Chocolates come in different ratios of THC and CBD to suit any experience level.
  • Grab some heady, energizing prerolls or flower for the high-energy acts. Try Metaverse by Lifted or Dewey Cannabis Co’s Happy Trails, or pay homage to an old favorite with Sweetwater Farms’ ATF . (Side note: Don’t get yourself or our friends at the Croc in trouble! No partaking in the venue- no exceptions.)

Day 2: Sunday, May 5th

Sunday’s headliner is none other than the oh-so-eclectic producer/DJ Tokimonsta, and it’s safe to say that the tone for the rest of the evening follows her lead.

You can expect a smorgasbord of musical delights on night 2, from R&B powerhouse Rochelle Jordan, to the nostalgic and folksy tunes of Cat Clyde and Glitterfox, to Seattle native hip-hop maven Laza. Top all that off with the oh-so-catchy pop bops from Theia and a performance by Lux sponsored artist Aryana Leon, and it’s less of a smorgasboard and more of a 5 course tasting menu.

Our Day 2 recommendation

  • Match the eclectic energy of Sunday’s lineup with a mixed-strain preroll pack. Nobody does mixed preroll packs better than Saints Joints- and they always have a few mixes to choose from! Once again, make sure you step outside before you partake 🙂
  • Keep a vape with carefree, go-with-the-flow effects on you to move through different genres seamlessly. Treehaus’ Bee’s Knees, Peanut Sundae by Torus, or Strawberry Twizzlers by Fire Bros will get you where you want to be.

Will we see you at Belltown Bloom?

We hope so! Make sure you grab your tickets soon- you don’t wanna miss this one! There are single day passes in addition to the 2-day GA passes available.
