Anyone who’s spent time with musicians will tell you that they often embody dual personas.
Their onstage self is larger-than-life, played up to keep crowds of concertgoers engaged and transfixed.
But offstage, the real life version emerges: not completely oppositional to their public face, but notably toned down.
Unless that musician is Aryana León, that is.
About Aryana León
An emerging alt-pop/neo-soul talent in Seattle’s music scene, 27 year old Aryana is “Leo Season” personified- even down to her name (León means lion in Spanish, and she’s affectionately coined her supporters “The Pryde”).
Having attended several of her performances before we really got the chance to get to know her on a personal level, we had no idea that the same exuberant, multifaceted energy and refreshing candor we saw onstage would carry over into the one-on-one interactions we had with her. Musicians are human just like us, after all.
But carry over it did.
The stories Aryana tells through her lyrics aren’t simply stories. They’re a peek into her lived experiences.
Her music touches on universal themes like heartbreak, joy, anxiety, and longing while at the same time exploring her own Latinx and Middle Eastern heritage and identity as a queer woman.
And what about her killer stage presence? Well, she couldn’t turn that off if she tried. “All the world’s a stage” is just a saying for some; for Aryana, it’s a way of being.

Aryana León’s Puff & Play Pro-tips
With Aryana Leon, what you see is what you get, for sure. But make no mistake- she’s still got that “get you a girl who can do both” energy.
When we asked her about a summer activity we could tag along with her to, she said, “Well, I used to play soccer.”
We found out later that “used to play” is putting it modestly. In her time as an elementary school teacher , she also coached the girl’s soccer team, and took the formerly last in the league team all the way to state.
Our time with her on the field was decidedly less kid-friendly, but like those elementary schoolers she coached to victory, we still felt inspired by her audacious, infectious energy- and her choice of cannabis accompaniments.
Journeyman 1:1 Fruit Jellies
Wanna keep the pre-game stretches light and get right to the fun stuff?
Then munch on some Journeyman 1:1 jellies before you head out to the field!
The 10mg THC in each edible keeps exercises interesting and might have you doing some silly celebration dances, while 10mg CBD works out all those aches, pains, and kinks that could be holding you back from really getting after it.
Plus, Journeyman jellies are vegan, gluten-free, and made of real fruit. That means the whole squad can get their sporty stone on, regardless of dietary restrictions.
Fire Bros Multi-Strain Pack
Anyone who likes to stay active knows that it can be an emotional roller coaster: you go from “Alright, here goes!”, to “Ugh, I don’t know if I can do this”, to feeling like a god(ess) when those endorphins hit.
This pack of 5 half-gram joints from Seattle’s own Fire Bros runs the gamut of energizing to sedative, keeping you prepared for all of the highs and lows to come.
If you aren’t feelin’ the strains in the Fire Bros Pack, Saints also has an equally awesome multi-strain pack. They’re Seattle-based too, so you can keep it local either way!
Sparking up a mellow, balanced hybrid can get you in that focused, centered mindset for warm-ups.
Feel like giving up halfway through? Oh no, you don’t! Grab one of the energizing sativas in the pack and you’ll have your game face on quicker than you can say “Goal!”.
And when that post-workout euphoria and satisfying soreness creeps in, amplify and alleviate with one the deeply calming indica joints in the pack. Regardless of what the scoreboard says, you stuck with it. That merits a celebration! So puff away and give yourself a pat yourself on the back, champ. You deserve it.

What’s Next Up for Aryana León this Summer?
New Single Pass the Light
This new weed anthem is Aryana’s first foray into songs about the herb! We’ve heard the chorus and it’s EVERYTHING- “Everybody’s got a joint, so let’s pass the light”- but we can’t wait to hear it in its entirety.
This one is near and dear to us, because we were actually present for the smoke sesh that inspired her to write it.
Capitol Hill Block Party, July 20th
Aryana has a few shows on the horizon this summer (including a birthday show on August 2nd), but by far the biggest will be her appearance at Capitol Hill Block Party!
If you’re attending, check her out- her performance is not to be missed!
And if you don’t have plans to attend yet, there’s still time to score some single-day or weekend passes here: Tickets
